today i found a picture made by polish artist Dariusz Twardoch. It reminded me about the dream you had and shared with me. The dream of standing on a scene and forgetting the role...every picture he paint got a short description written by the painter.
This is a picture and the text written on white says:

If you forget even
what is a show in which you play?
always then you can go
