that special night...
...that special night: 12/13th December 1981, now exactly 26 (yes, always one more than i am), in Poland the martial law was proclaimed (announced). according to current historical state and thanx to the docs we do have acces now, it was an extreme move of the goverment and Party (the only one that time: PZPR- polish united workers' party) in order not to loose the power.
After that my Father left to sleep and i was about to leave but a film (all with the same leit-motif tonight) started, and it was a famous movie, that i never finally saw, but always wanted.
Officialy martial law ended on 22nd July 1983 (yes, that clearly proves i was born in the period of martial law), but many people says that in practise it ended on 1989 when the Round Table treaty was signed between old communist party and opposition.
Since some years, that special night: 12/13th December is celebrated to commemorate what happened these (tonight: 26) years ago and the victims of that night and these 2 years of martial law.
Same was tonight, so i joined my Father watching a documentry and tv debate of historians and some witnesses of that time. For him it was reminding what he experienced himself, for me hearing once again (everytime some more interesting details) on what i've learn from my Parents, their friends etc. Two generations, one that was contious and somehow participating as a leader of students' opposition group, and me: just born in the mid-time of martial law.
After that my Father left to sleep and i was about to leave but a film (all with the same leit-motif tonight) started, and it was a famous movie, that i never finally saw, but always wanted."300 mil do nieba" - danish-french production, polish director, script writer and actors as well as music composer etc. The story is based on facts, just names and country (destination) was changed. Indeed in the year 1985, two brothers: Adam (15) and Krzysztof (12), hidden under the TIR-car pack, smuggled to Sweden. Polish goverment made all possible to got them back to country, but the kids' parents didn't asked for boys' extradition, since they believed that Adam and Krzyś (short: Krzysztof) are big enough to decide for them selves. Indeed, abroad they were offered some reasonable conditions, being extradicted to Poland they would be put into the orphanage and there was slight chance they would be given back to their parents. Untill mature age (18) both kids were living in Sweden in an adopted family. In the year 1989 at the Congress of Human and Citizen's Rights in Strasbourg, they have seen this movie.
The movie story is based on these facts. In movie boys lead to Denmark.
I will try to get that movie so we can see it together, Peter. But maybe it will be easier to get it in DK, since here, it seems (on what i checked till now) that it's available only in Polish language version.
Or maybe it's too much of sad, polish modern history movies?...
Anyway: it was a good movie for me. I was crying a lot on the end. And this crying was healing somehow. I wanted to share it with you...

When the camera has a Bad hairday
When the Camera thinks it hs a bad hairday and it just refuses to make clear images, there is only one thing todo. Fix the hair, every minute counts. Here i am desperatly trying to style it and my actor is calming it down by creating a gentle breeze...after 15 minutes we had it fixed and could continue....

the premier and the presents,
After an evening of fun, flawors and poetry, the night fell and it was time to see the premier of the new meouteam movie "a Bikeride to Principessa".
And it was a real crowdpleaser. Everyone agreed that it was one of the best films they had seen that evening. The only qritical remarks were that in general there was not enough of Principessa. All agreed however that Principessa was very good and her star quality shined eventhough the directer had not given her allot to work with. Bravo to principessa allround.
BRAVO :D
Among the many presents two stole the attention.

This original black and white photography for Principessa's wall left everyone jealous.
And when a wooden figurine of one of the stars in the unrealeased movie "the croissant and I" was revealed as a special gift the crowd went crazy.

When reports came in that the real reason Principessa could not come was due to her never ending never tirering work for a better world, some of the guest rapportedly went into spontanious cries of joy, and tears of admiration fell.
What a day today has been, and Principessa once again shows the way by giving a lightening example of how to be. In truth Principessa is amazing and wonderful and phantastique. Hura for Principessa hurray hip hip hurray.

Principessa's Day
What a fantastique day today, the sun was shining from the morning and till the later afternoon when guests gathered for the official opening and gift giving ceremony in downtown Copenhagen. As we can see the flowers at the intrance were very nice. Handpicked by Wieleryb.

Allot of guest came, in fact so many came that a orderly arrangement of long lines had to be made...

once everyone had come Peter opened with some nice words on why Principessa is so important, about the nice contributions she has made in her short life and how excited everyone is to see her future work. There was allot of clapping:)

Then he gave a sample of the new Principessa poems he has collected since last time. Some of them were pretty good others need a bit more work

"She loves me.
I said it to myself,
and it made me smile.
A smile that made me smile.
Warming like my favorite tea,
from the inside-out"
And
"Staring at the blue, just before a darker one.
Lying in the bed waiting for the sun."
And
"Sitting here and thinking,
my pinkish-purple curtain.
Flying spoons and butterflies,
that much is for certain"
But so far the best part if you ask me was the sjokofountain :P mmmmmmmmmmmm
Later there will be gifts, and a premier of a new movie :D

In berlin we saw...

Hallo friends
From berlin i (little skilpel:P) would like to show and tell about a few things. As you can see we had great food. Frosen rasberries, marshmellows, lakrids, apple and frosen pees...mmm:P
Claus and Constance are nice hosts, they even held the door for me when i was a bit slow:DAs you can clearly see Claus's art was very interesting and inspirering so me and Claus had a very long chat about the whole thing afterwards, and we agreed that he is doing pretty well in his artistic efforts.

But he was not the only one that had something cool to show, just look at this work. It is pretty simple but the effect was nice and the location perfect, i hope you can get an idea of what it was like from this
I did not get to talk with this artist, and we went to more shows in the evening, that were also pretty good. But the last day peter did something wierd....an experiment he called it, but you be the judge of that. I knew it would be to sweet but he insisted...look at this
So after a very eventful weekend i headed back to Copenhagen, with crap, riba and blæksprutte, somehow we were a bit late so after we got of the subway peter crapped all of us and startet to run like crazy to catch the bus. In the train he had desided that he would be able to make it, and he did:) but only just. When we came to the busstop we saw the bus and ran ran. And just as we got to the bus the driver sat in the driving seat, so we waved shouted and he saw us, and we made it. Jubii.
We really miss you guys and hope you're doing good with the smukke princess. see you soon hopefully.

scary story from Strasbourg - from The Diary of Lille Crab
"...I was
walking by the street, enjoying the automn-like weather in half of July, looking at the river, bridges and ducks on the water, and then......an unidentify flying object arrived and cathed me...

...little strange blue Hatifnats-like creatures catched me and squizzed!
and to make it even worse, a very strange robot arrived and drank me... :(
;(
(story got no end. in order to save the crab you need to go to Strasbourg and find a red robot and ask to give back the lille crab..)

we have an idea:D

Hallo everyone.
Last night we were sitting thinking how our favorite bestest julia is feeling, and we thought "what can we do? we're just little small fingeranimals who dont know much about the life on ground" and we thought, and thought... And blæksprutte, in his thinking, squirted a bit of ink. First søstjerne was a bit upset because she had just cleaned but then: "I GOT IT" søhest shouted and stated to jump up and down an his søheste tail "when i was in the ocean we had søhesteraces. You know just for fun, and we used to have a favorite konic morski and we would make small flags and stuff. ("hmm that makes sence blæksprutte thought to himself. Sometimes it helps to be cheered on") "Let's make a rooting-kit for our favorite humyn?" søhest said. In a calmer voice. "Great, Fantastique, marveless" Blæksprutte could supply the ink, and søstjerne her creativity, and søhest the knowhow.
And as you can see we are already getting far. We have a "hatT for blæksprutte and a flag for søstjerne, and we are working on a banner. In the background you maybe able to see that we are thinking about putting a cheering song together. But søhest is really having a hard time remembering the old songs...(konic morski's don't have a great longterm memory...) so we have to start from almost nothing... If you have any ideas please let us know

Besides that we have a really great time here, it rains so much that it is almost as wet as back home:D
Julia Julia 1-2-3 Julia Julia.
working on the banner, is fun:)

At the other place we lived...
Hallo again everyone, these last days we have lived in a differtent part of town called "Nørrebro" in one of peters friends apartment. His name was Yilmas, a real minority (a muslim leftwing homosexual turkish kurd). As peters brother said "allot of people would want to beat him up" but it has not happened and he is really a nice guy. He let us have the entire apartmemt to ourselves for many days... anywway across from him is something interesting. One of the few exclusively jewish cemetaries in copenhagen...
....But skildpadde who is so attentive saw that there was the most beautiful sunset, that we missed the other day, so he sat in the windowframe and watch while søhest and blæksprutte prepared dinner in the kitchen....
...And there was one of the most beautiful paintings we have ever seen in the apartment :P

Søstjerne dissapeared form the kitchen but we dont know where she went....
When it was dark we where all together again and ready for bed...

Hallo from søhest, skildpadde, søstjerne, og blæksprutte
Hi everyone
tonight we were a little bored because peter was out and his mother had some company, so we went for a walk to see a little of the town...

We did not get to see much, only this hand and the arty little building on the containers, since it was begining to turn a bit dark, so we went to one of the lakes (we only saw a few swans some seagulls and a par of duck....to be honest we dont think there is much change of getting to talk to a danish skildpadde, søhest, søstjerne or blæksprutte. they must have gone on vacation...)
But we found a nice bench to sit on

Unfortunately the weather was not the best and when we cooled of from walking and wrickling and jumping we were a bit cold so we sat close together, and waited and hoped for a small hole in the clouds...

we almost cave up because of the cold and wind and clouds....

But then just as we were talking seriously about going home a small potenciel hole appeared (skildpadde saw it)

And the sun came out, and blæksprutte almost spilded some ink on the bench. It wouldn't have mattered much since the bench was full of ink from others, but we were glad we did not have to clean up...

And then a man and a woman walked past us (you can see him just to the left in the picture) and the sun disappeard, and it was cold again and we went home and now we are a bit tired:)

Godnat to all of you from Søstjerne, Blæksprutte, Søhest og skildpadde:D
