Hi giraf and moose

Dear Giraffe and Moose I have had the opportunity to see a bit of denmark and it is pretty flat. One the road in denmark i am sorry to report that i have witness the sudden death of some of our friends the pigeons. Let us hope they did not suffer to much...

And peter (i dont think he knows i in the last moment jumped into his backpack;) good plan guys:P) as you can see his speech made the time float between his hands. His talk was mostly about identity and how it changes in accordance to what we identify with through different stages of our life, and even though it keeps changes somehow we are still here, which means we really are not the things we do or the labels we put upon ourselves, but something different. Then he tried to explain how if we are not what we do or have done then maybe we could be our thoughts and emotions, but that did not really work either he said. Because most of us do not even remember all the thoughts we had yesterday, and three days ago you might have felt sad but today you feel fine so our thoughts and emotions is not who we are either. So what are we he asked. And replied that he did not know but he could say that somehow we were despite of not knowing what we are ( a bit over the top if you ask me). And then he went on about how we try to form our identity by finding it in the past or by projections into the future, which he then again said was futile since neither of the two were NOW, so what are we NOW now...(well all of this made me a bit confused, and i think also the people listening were a bit baffled) his closing statement was something like: But we do have something in common in our past (he was talking to a group who have all been exchangestudents) that keeps influencing us to this very day, and that is we can look in the mirror of change with more calm because we have looked in it before seen ourselves and we are still here... more or less. Thank you everyone. (it was some sort of reference to a thing he said earlier about looking in the mirror but not being able to see what was behind us and therefore that which was behind us could not make up our identity. To be honest i think it was a bit too fancy-smancy arty-farty for me.)

Well that is what have happened since i have been here more or less. I was a bit tired from flying and going out to party late night on the day of arrival so i have stayed in most of the time and so has peter.

Hope to see you both soon.
